Dear readers.

You may wonder where I’ve been. I know its been 5 weeks since I posted my last story on The Flemish Food Fest but I have a damn good reason…
The past month, I discovered the lovely Indonesian islands Java and Bali. Off course I could have blogged from there, but I think its so much better to be present for a 100% when you travel. To feel, taste, and smell the beauty of an amazing country and that’s not behind a Mac.
Off course I’ll bring you some great squid stories about my trip, stories on things, people, food, culture and nature that moved me.

Let’s start in striking beauty with this view on the Bromo volcano in Java.(We woke up at 3 am in the Lava Lodge (The best view of the village but for the rest a very basic, worn out motel), drove up the mountain in a 4×4 Jeep, and waited for the sunrise)
