Sometimes you arrive and sleep at a place that is so special, that once in a while you think about that night.
Tazu Rous’ Hotel Gent was definitely one to remember. 
I realise I never posted our pictures and story on this art work made for Track. (12.05.2012 – 16.09.2012)
This outdoor exhibition in the city of Ghent took place last summer and one of the highlights was a container room build around the railway station clock. 23 meters high, only 109 nights and no surprise: after 23 minutes all nights fully booked.

Tazu Rous’ Hotel Ghent was in an extraordinary location. It closed it’s door and stairs in September 2012 and to be honest, when I drive by the railway station I always look up to check if it’s still there.
It’s gone.

So enjoy this sneak peek of our night and try to book in Tazu’s next art project.

Tazu Rous lives and works in Berlin
This Japanese artist aka Tatzu Nishi, Tazro Niscino, Tatzu Oozu and Tatsurou Bashi- the guy changes names everytime he starts a new art project) creates spatial ‘encounters’ with unusual proportions using iconic objects taken from public space. He transforms lamp-posts, parked cars and monuments into oversized objects in domestic settings.
