Because it’s dark, it’s winter, it’s cold (I’m not a big fan I must admit) so why not overdo our X-Mas melancholia and go absolutely wild on light.And so they did in Japan. These spectacular shots are from the art project ‘Winter Illuminations’, a breathtaking display of lights at the Nabano No Sato botanical garden in Kuwana, Japan. Photographs by Hiroaki Kaneko Millions of LED lights spread across the garden grounds create fairytale scenes such as a sunrise at Mt Fuji, a rainbow across the sky,but I love the most the spectacular light tunnels, although I haven’t seen them yet myself.
