Because it’s dark, it’s winter, it’s cold (I’m not a big fan I must admit) so why not overdo our X-Mas melancholia and go absolutely wild on light.
And so they did in Japan. These spectacular shots are from the art project ‘Winter Illuminations’, a breathtaking display of lights at the Nabano No Sato botanical garden in Kuwana, Japan.

Millions of LED lights spread across the garden grounds create fairytale scenes such as a sunrise at Mt Fuji, a rainbow across the sky,but I love the most the spectacular light tunnels, although I haven’t seen them yet myself. For the lucky ones who planed a trip to Japan,go and catch this spectacular sight up until March 31, 2013. Hurry!
