Haute gastronomy in Ghent? More and more very talented chefs ( Sorry, I hate the empty and too often used word ‘TOP’ for every moron that lifts it’s head a bit above average level) find their way to ‘my home town’ Ghent to try out a food experiment (Meat Balls and Glory) , a pop up restaurant (Gaston), or just to open their first innovative restaurant like J.E.F, Volta, Vitrine to name some. The ones that don’t like to stand in the kitchen all the time, they can drop by at the brand new Boxy Fine Foods store: a food catering concept with healthy, surprising take-away gastronomy. Opened in avant-première at the Gentse Feesten for a quick nibble, but officially open since begin of August. And, the lucky ones that all ready tasted the fabulous style and finesse of Stefan en Kristof Boxy, know this is high class.
